About Us As the lead agency for community-based care in Palm Beach County, Child and Family Connections, Inc (CFC) is charged with managing the organization, enhancement, coordination, and oversight of foster care and related services to ensure the safety, well-being and security of the children and families we serve.

CFC was established in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) corporation in response to the Florida Legislature’s mandate that child welfare services be privatized (Section 409.1617, Florida Statute). 

Our Mission To promote a safe living environment, permanency and sense of stability for the children and families of Palm Beach County.

This is a look at Johnisha Heggs and her foster mom Dorothy Alvarez. Johnisha and Dorothy enjoyed a day at the circus. Thank you to the Ringling Bros. Circus for donating tickets to give local families this special day.

A dream came true for a local man at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. Steven Miller finalized the adoption of his daughter Sarah during National Adoption Day ceremonies. Here is a video of the special day and a very special family.

Child and Family Connections participated in the annual "Back to School Bash" at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.   Here is a video of a CFC family enjoying the event.
