News and Events

Valentines Day 2012 has been especially sweet for local families who want to be sure their babies sleep safe and secure.

In celebration of Black History month, Florida is presenting 29 Days of Amazing African American Children: Explore Adoption! This initiative is featuring an African American child, teenager or sibling group available for adoption every day in February. CFC’s adoption provider, Children’s Home Society of Florida (South Coastal Division), submitted five videos on our own  amazing local foster children…check out the website (link below) to see who’s being featured now.

These amazing African American children and teenagers are featured on the Explore Adoption website with a combination of videos, photos, and biographies highlighting these wonderful children. In addition, the Explore Adoption website highlights African American adoptive parents in the "Family Stories" photo album who became adoptive parents to one or more foster children this past year. So, please join us as we recognize an amazing African American child, teenager, or sibling group who is dreaming of joining their forever family.
