To promote a safe living environment, permanency and sense of stability for the children and families of Palm Beach County. 

About Us

As the lead agency for community-based care in Palm Beach County, Child and Family Connections (CFC) is charged with management of the organization, enhancement, coordination, and oversight of foster care and related services to ensure the safety, well-being and security of its children and families.

CFC was established in 2001 as a 501c3 corporation in response to the Florida Legislature’s mandate that child welfare services be privatized (Section 409.1617, Florida Statutes). Its three partnering agencies are Children’s Home Society (CHS), Family Preservation Services of Florida (FPS), and The Children’s Place at Home Safe (TCPHS).

Our Commitment

Ensure the physical and emotional safety and well-being of children and their families. Ensure timely permanency for all children. Preserve the family unit when appropriate. Promote prevention and intervention programs for families in need. Initiate and implement community involvement and accountability programs. Ensure provider accountability. Maintain genuine respect for the worth and dignity of all people.

Board Meeting Update.

A Board of Director’s Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 9:00 AM in the second floor CFC conference room located at 4100 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.

       DATE: Board meetings are scheduled for the 4th Thursday of every other month
