Accounting Coordinator (PG 11):
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of the Finance Department to include the processing, verifications, reconciliations and the reporting of financial transactions.  Responsible for the supervision and mentoring of key accounting staff.  Supports the Chief Financial Officer with the preparation of reports and analysis.  The Accounting Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Five years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management
• Two years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in automated accounting systems
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:

• Experience working in a non-profit organization
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related degree
• Experience with state, local and federal funding streams and contracts

Starting Salary: $50,000.00
